ART 180 Youth Programs Evaluation

Shaffer Evaluation Group partnered with ART 180 to strengthen its evaluation systems and build internal capacity for using data to inform program improvement.

We worked collaboratively with staff and stakeholders to clarify goals, refine outcomes, and develop a program logic model. A brief literature review and logic model laid the foundation for an evaluation framework tailored to ART 180’s mission.

Together, we designed and piloted a pre-post student survey (grades 4–12) using validated measures to assess key program outcomes. The final deliverables included the survey instrument and a technical manual with step-by-step guidance on data collection, analysis, and reporting.

SEG also trained staff on using the tools and interpreting results to support continuous improvement and demonstrate impact.
